Nicolas was a couchsurfer that stayed with me for a weekend. He’s from France but has been living in Detroit and most recently Pittsburgh interning as a journalist. In the past he has studied law and in the future he’ll study history back in France. Quite the mixture of studies adding to his intelligence. In just 36 hours or so he became a person I didn’t know to a person I did know by the time we took this portrait!
