Kate is a librarian/archivist turned UX designer. So, she’s got a good head on her shoulders. I’ve known her for a year. And just when you think you know people, you learn something new. Kate was born with a tail. A real tail. She’s had over a dozen surgeries to remove the continued growth. But it wasn’t until her late teens when the last surgery was a success. It was a state of the art surgery, written about in many medical journals. She is now tailless. Pretty cool, right? You know what else is cool, the fact that Kate likes old things and old people because you can learn a lot from them. Indeed!
